Prof J F.LAZENBYEmeritus Professor of Ancient History, Newcastle University. Died peacefully at home with his children at his side and surrounded by his beloved books on Tuesday 2nd July 2024 aged 90 years.
Husband to Liz, beloved Pa to Emma and Nic, adored Grandpa to Ellie, Alex, Rebecca and George and much loved Father-in-law to Matt and Andrea. Also beloved Brother to the late Michael and the late Stephen and much loved Brother-in-law to Francis and Uncle to Jennie.
Family funeral - no flowers by request. Donations in lieu can be given to Cancer Research or The Cats Protection League.
